Mr.V.NAGARAJAN, Famous traditional craftsmen in India originating from Kottaiyur, Karaikudi, Sivaganga, Tamilnadu is well known for his elegant styles of arts and crafts.
He is a Diploma Holder in Mechanical Engineering but he dedicated himself for the growth and development of Tanjore paintings. Though, he established this before 15 years, he started working on this painting for the past 25 years.
He dedicated him self in creating hundreds of new sketches and new variety of models in Tanjore style. He is the pioneer in creating Antique Style, emboss and super emboss paintings. To add one more feather in his cap, The Tamilnadu Government awarded him with the State Award for his Tanjore Paintings.

His achievements had been listed in newspapers and magazines like Dhinathanthi, Malaimalar and Dhinamalar etc…And his programme has been telecasted in famous television channels that enrich the value of his arts and crafts. Many honorable politicians like ministers, district collectors visited his home to see his Tanjore paintings and appreciated him for his excellent work.
Mr. V.Nagarajan has been awarded the most prestigious “Shanta Prasad award” for excellence in craft and the Govt. of India honored him with the “State Award for his Tanjore paintings”. They have been excelled in this arts and crafts industry for the generation of 5 years.
